Our Story
Marmelstein is shaped by a long standing design practice rooted in observation, intuition, and refinement. The work exists in the space between structure and softness, where form and material are allowed to respond quietly to the body.
Silhouettes are precise yet fluid, fabrics chosen for the way they fall, move, and feel in wear. Each piece is created to become part of everyday life rather than a momentary statement, allowing clothing to feel natural, tactile, and lived in.
The atelier forms the foundation of the label, where continuity, care, and attention guide the work over time. Alongside the collections, a carefully curated selection of pieces chosen for their shared sensibility exists in dialogue with the brand, shaping a cohesive environment defined by materiality and balance.
Marmelstein is created for women who value nuance, sensuality, and intention, and who approach clothing as part of lived experience rather than display.
Emilie Marmelstein
The collections are developed in Atelier Marmelstein under the direction of Emilie Marmelstein. Here, ideas are explored and refined with close attention to material, fit, and movement. Each garment is shaped through a process of testing, adjusting, and careful decision making, always guided by how it sits on the body and how it moves through daily life.
Alongside the seasonal collections, Emilie also works on a small number of personal commissions, developing garments in direct conversation with the wearer. These pieces are created through fitting and refinement, using carefully selected fabrics chosen for their quality and longevity.
Marmelstein is created for women who value nuance, sensuality, and clothing that feels natural to wear, pieces that quietly integrate into a lived wardrobe.
