At the Atelier
At Atelier Marmelstein, the collections for the boutique take shape under the direction of Emilie Marmelstein. This is where ideas are developed and refined, with close attention to form, fabric, and movement, allowing each garment the time to unfold naturally and with intention.
Working from the atelier, Emilie approaches design as an ongoing practice rather than a fixed outcome. Pieces are shaped through testing, adjustment, and quiet decision making, guided by how they sit on the body and how they move through everyday life.
Alongside the collections, Emilie also works in direct conversation on a number of individual commissions. These garments are shaped through fitting and refinement, using fabrics chosen for their quality and longevity, resulting in pieces that feel personal, natural, and made to remain.
